We had 20 people in our group and even with a reservation they still didn't have our table ready until 20 minutes after we arrived. We did have 2 servers but they took forever to get our drinks and take the orders. It took over 2 hours before we even got the checks to pay. The prices are pretty expensive and I would not recommend this restaurant for large groups.

We had a large group (42) that ate Dinner Saturday night. We were in the Bay room, which overlooked Galveston Bay. We overlooked a Tall Ship to the East and a very expensive Yacht on the West. Across the Bay, some Jack-up Drilling rigs were in Port for maintenance. The view was intriguing and added to the experience. Service was prompt and accurate for such a large group. I had the Peel-N-Eat Shrimp Appetizer, Cup of Gumbo, Crab Meat stuffed Tilapia and Key Lime Pie. Food was very good and reasonably priced.

It was Saturday, Mardi Gras and we had a family of 8 that had spent the day traveling into Galveston for our departing cruise on Sunday. We didn't realize it was Mardi Gras and thought there would be no way we could all sit down and have a meal together. We wanted fish, a family atomsphere and good service. We got it at Fisherman's Wharf. Priced right, fresh fish, great servers

This was our first time to eat at this Fisherman's Wharf restaurant and we enjoyed it. The view from the dining room looking out on the water is nice. They have an extensive menu, and everything we ate was delicious! We will definitely be back!

My wife and I went there at the recommendation of the owner of the B&B we were staying at (Grace Manor - Great! Will write that review next). It was a Saturday night and too chilly to sit out on the deck (bummer, right on the water next to the tall ship) so we had to wait about an hour, but it turned out to be well worth it. We got a table for two right next to the windows looking out on the same view we would have had outside. The food was very good (yes a bit pricey for our hometown, but not for Galveston). It was well cooked, well presented, and very tasty. Our waiter was great, on time with the drink refills and friendly but not in our way. The keynote of the meal, however, was the bread pudding. WOW! Absolutely wonderful. We will go back just for that if nothing else the next time we are in Galveston.
