Our room and everything was great. But we was on the 3rd floor and it was really loud from the people on the 4th floor, call front desk to ask for them to tell them to keep it down which didnt help. We was there form March 28 to March 31. Very noisey but everything else was good. House keeping came by daily and cleaned room and supplied fresh towels, If we ever go back to Galveston we will ask to be put on a top floor. I think you should look at maybe making the back rooms for families with children and the main part for couples or vice versa just a thought

We stayed at this hotel because its web page said it had transportation to and from the cruise pier in Galveston. This was very misleading. Their transportation is provided by Moody Gardens and when we arrived back in port at 7:30 am, we waited until 10:30 and our shuttle had not arrived yet. A friendly driver from Comfort Inn took pity on us and took us back. We had wanted to get an early start home and had a long drive. When we talked to the desk about this problem, they took no responsibility as they did not provide the transportation. Also, the room was dingy, the carpet badly stained and to top it off, they had made us pay a $50.00 deposit as a security for a clean-up fee. What a joke!! We will not stay there again.

Room Tip: The rooms had a shower only, no tub.

We had 2 rooms in what they call the tower. The rooms were large and clean. However, we were on the 2nd floor and had noise overhead all night long. I complained about midnight but it never stopped. The tower has no view and the elevators were slow as the place was full of people going on a cruise the next day. The breakfast is not much and the second day there were so many people trying to eat that I just skipped the breakfast. Staff was friendly. Just overall disappointed in this hotel.

Room Tip: Don't stay in the tower rooms. Walls are thin.

My wife and two boys shared one room the first Saturday night of spring break.

I read many of the other reviews, so I asked for a room away from the noise.

Pros:
1) Great price compared to other hotels in the same area
2) There was plenty of room for the roll away bed we wanted (3 beds total)
3) Decent free breakfast
4) Free cruise parking
5) Free internet
6) TV had HDMI input so we could watch a DVD using our own player

I hesitate to mention Cons considering the price, but...

Cons:
1) The exterior could use a little sprucing up
2) Not many restaurants nearby

We booked this particular establishment from looking and reading reviews on Trip Advisor and thought that with the easy access to the water park it would be great. The room was clean and spacious with a mini fridge and microwave and a very cold a/c unit. That's about where the good stuff ends. The TV never worked and the wifi was spotty. On the second night there at around 9:30pm the room above began making very loud noises and banging. We called the front desk and was rudely told they would handle it. It was quiet about 3 1/2 hours! At 1:00am the TV above us was blaring so loud we could hear what they were watching. Then at 4:00am the banging and what sounded like construction work began! Then next night after a long day at the water park we returned hoping for a quiet night and boy were we wrong. At around the same time as the night before the occupants above us began banging and stomping and running back and forth in their room. We called the front desk and they assured us they would handle it. A "manager" knocked on our door and told us she had spoken to the occupants above us and that it was just and older couple with no kids and seemed quiet. Twenty minutes later a full on party with about 200 people could be heard by not just is but the occupants across the hall from us. There was loud laughing and music being blared and all this at around 11:00pm. Then we heard what sounded like beer bottles being broken on the floor and at one point we thought they were coming through the ceiling!! We called the front desk to see if we could switch rooms for the night since we just wanted to sleep and they told us that there was only one room and that we had to empty our entire room first. Needless to say we immediately packed our things and checked out at midnight, and were told we would be refunded a night, with my parents and 3 year old son and made the trip back to Louisiana. We will not be staying here again until management is giving a course on how to actually manage and there is a security detail on sight. Sad thing is this place has such promise with its location and all the needs of the guests will NEVER be taken seriously no matter how they reply to this.

This was a great family hotel. The rooms are huge, there is a fridge, microwave and coffeepot along with quite a bit of space. The rates are reasonable and it's in a great location right next to Schlitterbahn and Moody Gardens. It's away from the traffic of Seawall Blvd, but just down the street from the beach. If you're looking for a good value, clean room, friendly staff, free breakfast, laundry facilities, and a great location, this is absolutely the place to stay. I will absolutely stay there again.

I loved the free mini golf because it gave my kids something to do in the morning before the attractions open! The rooms are a great size for two little boys who do not sit! Lol! I also love it came with a fridge and many choices of tv channels for the kids and us! Great location! Clean! Friendly staff! My only improvement would be the breakfast area. We had many cheer girls staying with us and it was very crowded due to the lack of extra seating and the tight area to get your food..Also the selection was smaller then other free breakfasts I have been to in the past.. The juices all had a bad taste both mornings also. I had to drink coffee only.
