If you love history and beautiful old homes add this to your schedule when traveling to the Galveston area. I wish they still built homes like this.

“self guided tour”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2013

There wasn't enough visitors for a guided tour so we were given radio guides. I've been to the Bishop's Palace numerous times but it was my daughter's first time. I liked being able to take our time. I'd like to attend one of the basement to attic tours since this tour only covered two stories. We got coupons at the Seaport Museum.

“Loved Bishop's Palace”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2013

Beautiful place. Can do guided tour or self guided tour with audio guide. It has beautiful architecture and stained glass windows. Well worth the price of the tour. It took us about an hour to tour but could stay here much longer!

“Beautiful bygone architecture”

Amazing historical architecture from the bygone boomtown of Galveston. Well worth the price for self-guided tours.
