“Beautiful Home”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

This was a great self-guided tour. You are given an handset with recorded information that takes you through the entire house. They also have a wonderful gift shop with lots of goodies at great prices.

“Nice to see”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

If you like seeing late 1800s architecture then worth a peak, nice to see the history laid out too of the family with photos and paintings, allow about 45 minutes to see it longer if you want to listen to the audio tour in details (audio free with the ticket).
Gift shop was cute too.

“Nice old house with an interesting history”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

This old house was sold to the catholic church as a residence for the Bishop, You will see why it is called the Bishop Palace. We took the tour with the guide but wished we would have done it on our own with the audio guide instead. Pictures are allowed without flash. The house has a number of stares to climb and the tour ends going down a narrow stairway to the gift shop. I am not sure if they have an elevator.

They need a new roof so $2 is added to the admission fee. It gets to be a little expensive for a family with children.

“Just Amazing!”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

For a reasonable admission price we were able to tour two of the floors. Very interesting, we did a self guided tour with headset narration. Must see if you like history.

“Interesting”

Nice and interesting. Worth the visit and price. Not allowed to take photos inside the home, but as many as you want outside. Nice church across the street as well.
