“Bolivar Island Ferry ride.”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

......this was one of the best experiences we have had in years. Two of us had been near the ocean while the rest of us had not.......so, we thoroughly enjoyed seeing the dolphins, seagulls, pelicans, and ships. It was a bit HOT outside so it was great to get a break going inside with Cold air. My Love and I had the best time on here. He enjoyed watching how the ferry docked and let the cars off. It was so much fun.

“Saw the dolphins!”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

Loved seeing the dolphins jumping in front of the boat. The wait for the ferry was only five or so minutes and our children enjoyed seing other boating traffic as well as the dolphins! And you can't beat FREE!

“walk on”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

if you walk on, you avoid the traffic and early morning is the best.
We saw Dolphins, and pelicans and sea gulls. Other passengers were friendly.

“Smooth ride!”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

I love to take the Ferry to Bolivar island the only thing is there is a sign that says please stay in your car until the ferry leaves the landing and everyone just gets out like they can not read but what ever floats their boat!

“I work for TXDOT on the ferry”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

For those who hate the lines just walk onboard. The reason the lines are long is the price it is free! Everything is Galveston is expensive now. I ride it every day so its boring to me but glad to let you guys experience it!
