It is interesting to veiw, but if you are heavier you will not fit through all the door ways and I would avoid the museum part as it was not all put together and BORRING!

“Not to Miss”
Reviewed August 28, 2012

This is right where the cruise ships drop off, so be aware of that if you are heading down... it can be busy. It is really an amazing piece of history though and should not be missed.

“Ahoy!”

If you love tall ships, you shoud tour The Elissa and visit the Museum. The history of the ship, how she got here, her restoration and survival of Hurricane Ike are fascinating.

“Sunday Funday!”
Reviewed August 17, 2012

My husband and I, and two of our friends drove to Galveston for a day trip. We took the tour on the Elissa and had a great time. Not only was it informative, but the ship provided many great picture opportunities! After the tour we all went next door to the the Fisherman's Wharf and had a great meal washed down with a few Saint Arnold Ellisa IPAs!

“Fun for the family”

We like sailing ships and the boys got a chance to run around and go up and down stairs and explore so they had fun too!
