“Best Place in Galveston for Action”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

There are tons of restaurants, bars and the beach is right there. The only thing I didn't like was parking was not free but when you are on vacation, I would expect it. Additionally, when you go to dinner, try to go on off times as it's crowded every where especially on the weekends.

“Fun Times”

This area is great for fun with your kids on the beach. A nice mix of restaurants and shops with fun things like bike rentals mixed in.

“Hotel on Seawall”

I absolutely love the Seawall. There are great hotels and restaurants. Even though you have to pay to park on the Seawall it is not expensive at all and very easy to do.

What a great getaway. This island is perfect for a extended weekend. Whether you are a couple or a family, you will find something to do on every corner. Whether you want a drink or something to eat, you will not go wrong. Don't pass it up.

“Love the seawall”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

No. It is not Cozumel. The beaches are not pristine but I still love the seawall. We walked with the kids for about an hour just watching people and played on the beach. We did rent two chairs and an umbrella. It was pricey but worth it.
