“Watch For Traffic”

In particular watch out for Seawall Blvd. The traffic is a mess is is bumper to bumper all day and late into the evening. Walk if you can and park your car, it's quicker.

“So relaxing”

After walking on the beach barefoot in the ocean......it's nice to sit on the bench on the seawall and watch the surfers, sunbathers, children playing, etc. Sooooooo relaxing!!

“Walk, Walk and Walk some more!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2012

We love the seawall. The views are awesome and it is so much fun to walk or ride a bike on. We always feel safe to walk on it any time of day. Love to stay near it whenever we visit Galveston.

“Perfect for people watching”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2012

Built after the famous 1900 Storm, the Galveston Seawall stretches for miles. You can walk, jog or ride a bike on the seawall. For now, parking is free; that may change in the future. Like many such walkways that go along a beach, you can watch everything from surfers and fishermen to kids building sandcastles and some people who really should have thought a little longer before donning some of their swimwear.
