“Dirtiest beach, too much junk”
Reviewed March 11, 2012

Too bad people leave their trash behind so many bottles, cans and plastic containers! Nice long beach. Street quite noisy and cars roar by frequently. Too bad there are no trees at all.

“Nice but nothing extraordinary”
Reviewed March 11, 2012

We dcide to visit Galveston following some family sugestions.
We visit the Seawall and even though is a nice beach with some interesting features we didn't feel anything out of the conventional.
Maybe we didn't spend enough time (just 2 hours) but that was our impression.

“The best free walk in Texas”
Reviewed March 8, 2012

you can walk along the seawall and watch the Gulf of Mexico for more than 8 miles without getting your feet et or sand in your shoes or you can walk down the steps on sit on the beach. The water is always changing and the people watching is also fun. While the Seawall itself is free the City of Galveston is implementing a paid parking program starting on approximately May 1, 2011, but the maximum rate for the whole day is just $8.00.

“Spend a day here, easily.”
Reviewed March 8, 2012

Just walking down the Seawall, just above Galveston beach, is relaxing. With shops and restaurants galore across the street, you could easily spend a day here.
