LOTS to see! Not what you
'll see at Coney Islong, but sea (technically a bay), sand, rocks, jetties, people riding all sorts of wheeled conveyances, Some good food, some pricey, great cheap bars and tourist traps! The Jersey Shore of the South!

Not the best beach but pretty cool for Texas. I probaly would not spend a week there but it's nice for a weekend

It's so cool to be able to drive along and watch people surfing in the ocean. Lovely views and lots to do. We stay in condos on the Seawall so we get a beautiful ocean view all day. Easy to find your way around - WalMart, Kroger, etc.

Winter or summer there's nothing like the sound of the waves and breeze in your face.

The seawall provides a very nice walkway for biking, walking, and jogging. We always feel safe riding our bikes on the seawall. It has beautiful view of the gulf, easy access to the beach, benches, numerous shops and restaurants across the street and is just a lot of fun.
