Stayed in this hotel for one night and had a very nice dinner on the 9th floor. The price is high, but worth it. The room is spacious and quite, with comfortable bed. The breakfast at the lobby level is very good with right price.More

Thank you for your review. I am happy you enjoyed your room, dinner at Shearn’s Seafood and Prime Steaks and breakfast at The Terrace restaurant. We look forward to welcoming you back.
this was a overnight trip for a work function, so we did not get to utilize the pool or spa. We did go look at the pool and it was nice. We had an island view but at night there was not much to see.
the rooms were clean, had everything we needed and the room was ready when we arrived.
Thank you for leaving a review on Tripadvisor. Your feedback is appreciated and we would love to welcome you back in the Spring or Summer so you can enjoy the pool and spa.
As a hotel, this was one of the best I have visited in fifty years of travel for both business and pleasure, both in and out of the US. I was here for a conference so I did not get to test the hotel's connections with the community. But internally everything was excellent, including the (very little) time it took to repair a stuck drain.l
The external signage needs a complete face lift. The signs have pale letters on sun-bleached backgrounds. If I did not have a fully equipped smart phone, I might have missed it.
We chose to stay at the Moody Gardens Hotel the night before we went on a cruise out of Galveston. We arrived at the Hotel around 3pm and were promptly checked in by a very friendly girl at the front desk and were taken to our rooms by a very nice and friendly luggage attendant.
We then went on the grounds and explored to find the Rain Forest exhibit in one of the big pyramids. It was around 22.00 a person and it was a very interesting and educational exhibit. After that we went and saw The Wizard of Oz in 4 D. It was 11.00 a person and it was phenomenal. It only lasts about 18 minutes but it is an experience. After that, we decided to just stay on the property and eat our dinner at the restaurant. The Terrace restaurant is under renovation but they had another restaurant opened for dinner. The food and service was excellent. It was so good that we went there for breakfast the next morning They have a buffet for breakfast for only 10.95 but we opted for the menu selection which was prepared your way. It was excellent as well. The stay at the Moody Gardens was a great beginning to our cruise vacation. This resort would be a wonderful weekend getaway as well!!!
Oh, and one more thing. The beds and bed linens are awesome and the rooms have Kuerig coffee makers in them! : )
I was there on business at a conference. The resort is beautiful and very clean. The rooms are huge. The entire staff was very, very friendly. The prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
We stayed here over a weekend for a cheer competition. The hotel is connected to the convention center so that was phenomenal!!! The rooms were average needed some updates but were clean. The beds and pillows were amazing! I am so picky about pillows and these were so comfortable that I plan to call and ask the brand! The amount of mirrors were perfect with a little vanity outside the bathroom. Getting girls hair and makeup on for competition can be stressful in and of itself and not enough mirrors would have been tragic. They also had Keurig coffee pots with coffee and tea. A nice roomy refrigerator for drinks too. We ordered room service for lunch one day and the food was great! The service was fast too. We didn't get to enjoy the pools due to the cold weather but they looked fun! All in all it was a nice place to stay. We would stay there again!
