This facility was right across the road from the docks at Fulton Harbor, Texas. The room was good size. The appointments were good. Very comfortable. The continental breakfast was varied and plentiful. We stayed here for one night when we visited the area to explore the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge. The boat we took early the next morning was right across the street. Friendly folks, good service and well located. We would stay here again for sure

My wife and I normally stay at national chains in the "slightly above average" category. This small property, in Fulton, Texas is AT LEAST that good. Probably better. The room was large with a nice kitchenette. The grounds were well maintained. The services and amenities were top notch. The staff was outstanding. Cleanliness and maintenance were spot on. All in all, it was an EXCELLENT place to stay. The location, right across the street from the fishing harbor, made for excellent photo opportunities. There are good restaurants in walking distance. Grocery shopping is less than a mile away. Kayak rentals and sightseeing excursions are right across the street. As an added plus, the lobby and courtyard have live in kitties. I was debating on whether to post that, but I decided, if you don't like kitties, you don't deserve to stay here! The bed was comfortable, verging on opulent. The continental breakfast was tasty. In short, We have found a new and better place to stay in this area. Incidentally, this was a birding trip. For those interested, with the Skimmer Whooping Crane tour, The Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, and all of the other possibilities around, we got 93 birds in 4 days! Stay here, you won't be sorry!

Room Tip: Try to get the second floor. The Harbor Views are a little better. (But, it is just right across the...

Passing thru town on a whim, we stopped here about midnight and received just the warmest welcome ever. Quaint decor, very friendly service, large room with a balcony overlooking the fishing pier - which was pretty active on such a cold night. It was fun and the view at sunrise was spectacular. Comfy beds for the night and a great sunny breakfast buffet awaited us in the morning. We'll visit here again - it was the perfect location at the perfect price with the perfect amenities!

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony room on the water!

This was our first stay at Inn at Fulton Harbor and it won't be our last. We have stayed at some of the other hotels in the area, and this is best by far in terms of price/value. This is a charming, small hotel (44 rooms) that is just perfect for a stay in Fulton.

Check in and out was a breeze. Our room was quite large and very clean. The furnishings were a little dated, but beds were comfortable with sparkling white duvets. The room had both a mini fridge and a microwave. The rooms are positioned in a U around a lovely pool, with plenty of chairs and towels available. There are also plenty of chairs to lounge outside of the pool area, if you prefer, and just enjoy being outside. WiFi was free and quite good. There was a complimentary continental breakfast in the morning, which we didn't try. It looked like cereal, fruit and some muffins. Nothing fancy. Certainly OK in a pinch.

The Inn is right in the middle of Fulton. Of course, Fulton isn't big. But after a day of fishing or the beach, you can easily park the car and walk to one of a half dozen decent restaurants. In addition to Charlotte Plummers across the street, we recommend Moon Dog - kind of a funky dive with good food. The Inn is also within walking distance of the Fulton Mansion. You can take a free "cell phone" tour or a guided tour for around $6. We haven't done this yet but have it on the agenda for next trip. While in Fulton, head to historic Rockport. Only a few minutes by car. The historic area is about 6 blocks long and filled with interesting art galleries and unique shops. All the shops have lots of seating outside, and some inside as well, for those patient husbands who would rather people watch than shop.

The Inn's owners also own the marina and Charlotte Plummer's restaurant across the street, as well the store next door which has the typical type of wares you would see at a beach store (but worth taking a look if you are a shopper). The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, has a fairly wide menu (heavy on seafood) and is reasonably priced. They also have a second floor outdoor patio that is great for when the weather is nice. Try the bread pudding - it is super! They will also deliver room service to your room. The marina has both slips and boat ramps, and there is plenty of parking for trailers.

Lastly, if you are a private pilot, there is an airport no more than 5 minutes by car from the Inn. You can normally get a rental car for $25/day on weekends. It took us less than than 45 minutes to secure the plane, grab the car, and check into the hotel before we were enjoying a drink and plate of oysters at Moon Dog!

Room Tip: If you don't mind the stairs, ask for a room on the second floor facing the Harbor.

Have stayed here several times and always enjoyed they stay, clean rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Prefer staying here to spending high dollar for room in Corpus even if I will be going to Corpus for the Aquarium or such things. .

Very clean, well-kept hotel. Rooms are very large. Beds were comfortable. Price was also great. Staff was also friendly. I would definitely stay there again. The one downside would be the view from the hotel towards the ocean. The is a large dumpster in view.

I have travelled many times to the Rockport-Fulton, TX area and have stayed at almost every hotel. For the money, I think the Inn at Fulton Harbor is the best. The rooms are on the large side and are well kept and very clean. The same can be said of the grounds, which include a swimming pool and tropical landscape. The Inn serves a free continental breakfast every morning and the front desk personnel are very nice and helpful. Finally, the property is well located in the heart of Fulton, where the streets and sidewalks have been recently improved, and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants and the Fulton Harbor.
