Went for lunch on 07/16/04 and had great fish tacos and sweet potato fries. Although a very informal place to dine, it has a great view of the harbor. They were undergoing renovation/expansion while we were there but it was worth maneuvering through the construction for such a yummy meal.

Open air restaurant with temps hitting 95 plus. Got sitted in front area, no breeze too hot.
Moved to rear a slow breeze helped a little. Ordered tea all around for six. By the time the tea made the table ice had melted. We asked for extra ice, waiter seemed perturbed by this request.
He took our orders and disappeared as we needed more tea. A lot of waiters and waitresses at times it looked like a chinese air raid inside the restaurant. Food took almost 45 minutes and we ordered seafood the Dogs specialty. Seafood is pricey, I can understand, however some of our orders were over cooked. Our waiter came by finally to drop the bill and nothing else. NO MAS.

Had a great afternoon of drinks at the bar. Bartender was very nice and helpful. Went back for dinner and the waitress needed lots of help. She contently apologized for bad service but never improved it. The mashed potatoes came out cold but she never returned to the table so I never got to complain. Shrimp Brochette - someone forgot to add the jalepenos to the bacon and shrimp.

The current building has an open air patio. Get ready for crows and such to fly in and land on tables and the floor to eat leftovers. Also noticed people bring in non-service dogs. The wait staff arent the friendliest and almost to the point of being rude. Where do they find and hire these people?
Food is more of a miss than a hit. Grouper sandwiches are mostly thick slices of bread with small pieces of grouper.

We had a poor experience at this restaurant. We arrivied on Saturday evening around 6. The hostesses were rude and we should of left at that point but being the optimist I feel everyone has a bad night once in a while. The place does not have AC and is currently being remodeled. We were sat in the first sitting area and it was way too hot as this area is closest to the kitchen. We were moved to the middle sitting area which was a bit more comfortable although the hostesses were not happy and kept whispering to each other. I'm sure it was about our party. The food is not great but it is ok. I had the mahi mahi po boy which was good. We were never offered refills, it took quite a while to be served and we kept having to flag down our server. Needless to say, we wont be going back to Moon Dogs!
