120 A-Type personalities who all like to win and brag about it - where can you go for fun and entertainment - the Main Event! The team enjoyed bowling (although some of them were awful) and a great many of them really got into the laser tag! Great fun had by all and a few stories to go home with as well.

The staff here was awesome. Very helpful. There were a few glitches with the bowling that they fixed right away. Its a little wonky to get to. So plan ahead and follow the GPS.

Lots of activities for kids and an all around fun place to spend the afternoon. Since this is indoors, it is weather proof and has enough variety for everyone in the family. Bowling, billiards, laser tag, video games, etc. We have held several birthday parties here and it has always been a hit.

We have been to Main Event numerous times. There is alot to do at Main Event: Bowling, pool tables, lazer tag, indoor ropes course and video games. It is a great place for Birthday parties and they give a great birthday package price. However, just taking the family as on outing can really add up quickly.

Easy to find and directly off a major highway.

This particular Main Event (there are multiple Main Events in the area) has bowling, laser tag, ropes course, mini golf, arcade & billiards.
- The bowling is easy to use, you can add bumpers mid game (for a child that wanted to go without initially), wait staff to order food and bowling balls of all weights. There can be a wait as this is a very popular activity of theirs but you can always play something else while you wait for a lane.
- The laser tag is an excellent course. It is dim, multi-level and glow in the dark. They usually (we have visited on multiple occasions) play a particular type of laser tag for the duration of the day and only switch types of games daily (bases, no bases, free for all, teams, recharge, etc). We always have a great time. The games last (from going in and watching the safety video to leaving with scorecards) about 30 minutes. The referee is always on the course (and easy to find). Do beware for those with breathing difficulties there is fake fog in the course - I have no breathing issues and I can taste/smell it.
- The mini golf is a very straight forward course and takes maybe 10 minutes to complete. It is not glow in the dark at this location (it is at a few others) and easy. While I wouldn't spend money to play only the mini golf if it is included in your pass go for it.
- The ropes course is a slight challenge and they give you plenty of time. It is a "free for all" in terms of which direction to go, how to navigate the course, etc. I also wouldn't pay for this individually but this is my preference. My husband enjoyed it immensely and would pay for individually.
- The arcade is large with plenty of each type of game. It has not been crowded at all at any location we have been to. It is expensive (typically at least 1.50 for each game) and requires you to use a "play card" (pre-filled card) at each game to pay. The card can be used at any main event and can be used for cash for anything (I bought food with it) as long as it is loaded with cash and not bonus/free amounts.

The food is edible. I eat only organic, natural, etc so you can see where I wouldn't like the food but as far as the "average" diet there was no issue with it. Our friends have no complaints about the food.

Do know it is a family establishment however it does have a bar in the billiards area and caters to adults later at night. The Lewisville location stays open until 2 am and very much caters to adults at those hours.

Check for deals. Paying individually for activities is going to run up a very hefty bill. Generally they have a "happy hour" segment of the day for free billiards (this is typically catering to adults), and "all you can play" wristbands that cover all the activities in one, one time amount for a certain part of the day. Make sure of the time and the day you are going on as it ends early on certain days, goes only part of the day on others, etc. It does usually change and change price on a fairly regular basis. In my opinion this is the only way to go as it is so expensive any other way.
