We were on a wine tour and had been driving around to several wineries over a wonderful weekend. One of our final stops on Saturday, we went to the Narrow Path Vineyard and Winery outside of town to get away from the crowds. The scene was gorgeous and the wines were all pretty good. However, as soon as we got there the guy behind the counter, presumably making small talk asked us where we had come from (we had been at another winery). He then immediately asked us if we bought anything there, to which we replied that we had not. After that he pretty much ignored us to talk with other customers the rest of our tasting since I guess he assumed we wouldnt buy anything after the tasting, which of course we didn't, though we likely would have if we did not feel we had been discriminated against from the beginning (we are a young couple and I guess maybe not as likely to spend as much money as some of the older folks). Could easily have been 5 star had we both not left with a bad taste in our mouths (though it was not from the wine).

8 of us visited on a cold winter day but it was wonderful inside. Even the stark landscape of barren grape vines was beautiful. It was such a pretty drive from Blanco too.

In stark contract to the abysmal service we received at a nearby distillery this place was AMAZING. The food, the service, the wine- just everything. We ended up ordering (and devouring) 3 meat/cheese plates and took bought bottles of wine to enjoy later.

The wine tasting was informative and our server was wonderful.

I am returning in the spring for sure!

This was a wonderful spot to spend a morning. Bill was great at explaining their wines and was extremely knowledgeable. We decided on a glass and a cheese board (they made us one even though they were having an event that day and technically weren’t serving them) and then spent the morning enjoying the views. We felt welcomed and taken care of while there. It was definitely worth the stop.

We came here as our first winery to visit in the area. The building is brand new and modern and very comfortable and relaxed. We kinda got pushed into tasting all 5 of their wines available which we did not want. Make sure you tell them its not what you want otherwise you will get pushed into it.

The red wines tasted great and we did get a bottle. The whites are probably great but we dont care for white so we had to taste them at our servers insistance. She did give us several other places to visit and we appreciated her help .

My wife and I visited this tasting room in downtown Fredericksburg and enjoyed an informative visit with John. He introduced us to the history and process of Narrow Path's products. As evidenced by the numerous award-winning wines on display our visit was rewarded with some great tasting wines. Although a small venue it was a very comfortable stop on our journey through historic Main Street.
