It was a pleasure having you stay with us. We look forward to seeing you again on a future visit to Fredericksburg.
We've stayed with Claude and Lisa 3 times now and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Fredricksburg! It's a home away from home. The attention to detail goes way beyond any expectation and the gourmet breakfast each morning is absolute heaven! The home is beautiful, the company delightful and we always get a great night's rest in the comfortable surroundings.
It is always great having you stay with us. Although your daughters did not make the trip this time it was a pleasure to meet your husband on this visit. Looking forward to seeing you again.
My husband and I spent a wonderful night at the Magnolia House. We couldn't have asked for more. The breakfast the next morning was delicious. The room was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The grounds around the house just invite you sit for a spell and enjoy the surroundings. Lisa answered all of our questions and made great recommendations for dinner which were spot on. My only regret is we could not stay longer, but look forward to a return visit some day.
Thank you for you kind comments, we are happy to hear you enjoyed our home and our breakfasts. We know you were only able to stay one night, hopefully we will get to see you again on a visit to Fredericksburg in the future.
My fiancée and I stayed at the Magnolia House for two week nights as part of our first trip to Fredericksburg. It was a delightful experience for several reasons:
Location - Only seven blocks from Main Street, it is located within walking distance to several shops and restaurants, yet far enough away to be quite peaceful.
House - Large and comfortable with a rich history and beautiful outdoor space.
Food - Absolutely delicious. Claude is a fabulous cook. His two course breakfasts are worth writing home about and his daily batch of fresh cookies are so good it is hard to restrain oneself from eating the entire plate.
Lisa and Claude - Charming, warm and welcoming. They truly make you feel at home. Lisa's recommendations for wineries and dining in town were spot on.
Our first visit to Fredericksburg was thoroughly enjoyable and we will certainly be returning to Magnolia House on future visits.
We are pleased we were able to make you first trip to Fredericksburg a special one. We enjoyed having you stay with us and look forward to seeing you on a return visit in the future.
Ended up staying here on my wedding night, and was happy with the room, and very happy with the friendliness of the owner. The breakfast the next morning was also fantastic, definitely a big selling point. I wish it had been a bit closer to down-town Fredericksburg, but I guess you can't have it all.
We are glad you enjoyed our home and our breakfast. We hope you had a great time on your honeymoon trip after leaving us.
My boyfriend and I loved Magnolia House!! The pictures just don't do it justice. It's such a perfect and peaceful place to spend a relaxing weekend in Fredericksburg. And it's only a short distance from Main Street that is easily walkable on a nice day. The breakfast was fantastic too!
Lisa was so sweet and accommodating (Claude was out of town). We are already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you!
We are so happy that you were able to have a relaxing weekend and appreciate your kind comments. We hope to see you both again on a future visit.
