I didn't expect such a great place in Texas. Spent four wonderful nights in the "Interlaken" and I felt like being in a different world. Very clean and quiet location with lots of love for details. Great hosts and lots to do and see in Fredercksburg. Looking forward to come back soon. Thank you guys, was awesome!

There are not enough words for me to describe the beauty and charm of Baron's Creekside. Daniel's attention to detail and dedication to history results in a delightful "get away" for adults and families. You are so close to main street, but the beautiful property and cozy cabins make you feel tucked away from the city such that you almost forget Fredericksburg is just around the corner. All of the buildings on the property are charming, cozy, and have all the ammenities you need. It was a perfect romantic spot for my husband and I, but we're definately coming back with our children soon!

This was our second stay and it was just as great as the first time. We love the cabins and property. Daniel the owner is a really great host. It is just close enough to town for your needs bit far enough to enjoy the quite hill country. It is a great place for couples or families.
Thanks for the great stay....

This was our first experience with a "bed and breakfast" and it was very nice. Very picturesque and relaxing. We are looking forward to going back and hopefully bringing out grown children and their families. Daniel is a wonderful host!

we enjoyed our stay at the Barons Creekside ! We have already booked our next stay. We stayed here with friends and enjoyed visiting on the porches and sitting by the fire pit at night. The owner was extremely friendly and we enjoyed visiting with him and some of the staff also. This will be our " Special" place to stay any time we visit Fredricksburg from now on.

My wife and I recently returned from 2 years living in Europe, where we travelled to neary 30 different countries and saw all the major sites. After 4 months in Dallas, we got that travel itch and needed to get away. We'd never been to TX Hill Country, and although it wasn't exactly the travel we'd been used to, it was in the area and the budget. Needless to say, we weren't exactly excited to be heading to Fredricksburg after our recent travel experiences. Luckily, we stumbled on the Baron's Creekside website and picked it over some of the other options, which was the best decision we made of the entire trip.

We stayed 4 nights, and it was totally relaxing. Spent quite a bit of time around the area (Austin, San Antonio, and the general Hill Country countryside), but we really could have never left the grounds and been satisfied. The cabins and grounds are incredible. You won't think you're in Texas. Plus I would definitely suggest a trip in the Fall, as the weather was amazing. We had breakfast on the porch every morning, listening to the creek and watching the ducks play. The place is just a mile or so off of Main Street, but it feels like a world away from all civilization.

If there is a downside - there is no maid service or breakfast served. But seriously - do you wash your towels at home every day? And most of the "B&B's" in the area just give you a voucher to a local restaurant (which you are paying for in the price of the room), and those places aren't really that great. We went to the grocery store and took advatage of the full kitchen.

I can't say that we'll ever return to the Hil Country, but if we do the lodging is already decided!!

We stayed in the Mesquite Farmhouse and enjoyed the porch, firepit, and hot tub. Daniel, the owner, dropped by after we arrived to check on us and answer any questions but after that gave us our privacy. We brought our dog with us who enjoyed the creek and waterfalls. All in all, you get the sense you're tucked far away in the country but you're just minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. We highly recommend Baron's Creekside - in fact we're going back in November.
