the food was good, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was quiet and romantic. it was a tad pricey, but all in all, i would go again. even outside in the texas heat it was nice in the patio. the misters were on and the fans and we sat by the waterfall. very nice.

My husband and I ate here this evening after a busy day of hiking at Enchanted Rock. First off, this is fine dining, not like TGOChlibees. The dress code was relaxed, but the quality of food was not. The server was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu and helped to overcome my reservations about ordering the starter item that listed red chile as an ingredient. This is not a place that uses chiles to make everything hot simply to make it hot. The chile in the goat cheese starter was earthy and added to the depth of flavor provided by the herbs. The pepita flat bread was fresh and complimented the sharpness of the goat cheese. We had the filet mignon as our main course with ancho mashed potatoes and green beans. The filet was tender and juicy and cooked exactly as ordered. The mashed potatoes were creamy and the ancho made them a lovely color. For dessert I had the creme brûlée and my husband had the flourless chocolate cake. The creme brûlée was had a nice, strong vanilla flavor and the sugar on top was just right--not burnt. The chocolate cake had undertones of cinnamon and chipotle. All in all a lovely meal. The server was attentive through the whole meal, but we never felt rushed. We will look forward to visiting here again.

Dined here Saturday evening with friends on the recommendation from a local shop owner. It did not disappoint. We made a reservation for 7 Pm arrived a little early and was seated promptly. we ate outside on a lovely covered patio with a great waterfall. We had wine and beer but the cocktails being served from the bar looked amazing. I had flat iron steak and chipotle mashed potatoes. It was very good! Friends had a 45 day aged rib eye and risotto. They also liked theirs. My husband had the biggest grilled pork chop I have ever seen. His was also good. For dessert we had ice cream....Mexican vanilla bean ...which was excellent and friends had bread pudding that was good. would recommend this place to everyone!!!

Navajo Grill was recommended by many shop owners - reservations not required but encouraged. Lovely atmosphere. Covered patio near the waterfall feature - very pleasant. Bone in rib eye 45 day aged steak / Flat iron steak / pork chop-delicious. Ancho chili cheese mashed potatoes, broccolini and pumkin orzo - very good. Dessert- white chocolate bread pudding (great texture) and ice cream -tasty. Our wait staff, Fernando- attentive and prompt with many helpers ensuring a fine meal. Lovely evening meal.

Lovely patio with fans and a bar. Good food!

We had the crab cakes, French fries, redfish and crab salad. All were excellent. The food was fresh and a good portion size. The service was good and they allowed us to split 10 checks.

I will definitely eat here every time I'm in Fredricksburg.
