Fresh, local, organic, yummy food with fantastic service. Also the wine list was great. Make sure you have a reservation, if you don't you can usually sit at the bar on the patio which is what we did and it was perfect. I will eat here everytime I go to Fredericksburg! Also, the artwork in the restaurant is worth mentioning. Just an all around perfect place!

Ordered duck and it came out raw, not under cooked but raw. had eaten there last April and it was great so just chalk it up to a bad night in the kitchen. They did comp the meal and were very apoligetic.

Spent a weekend in Fredericksburg to visit wineries, and had wanted to go to Cabernet Grill for dinner, but found that they were closed for the weekend. So we went to Navajo Grill on a Friday night instead, and it was a full house. This was on a pretty quiet weekend in Fredericksburg (no festivals going on and it was in January). We did not have reservations and were fine waiting. The hostess estimated a 45 minute wait, and another group who was about to be shown to their seats told us it was worth the wait. They were right. The staff was attentive both while we waited, providing updates on our wait time (it ended up being more like 25-30 minutes), and once we were seated. The food and wine were outstanding. We would definitely return.

Would not return, empty resturant at 6:30 pm on a Friday night but yet couldn't seat us for 2 hours. And no offer to help find us a table!

We have been going to the Navajo Grill religiously every trip to fburg for 5+ years. We have eaten there with just ourselves and other couples. Everytime, this place delivers. Excellent wine list, including very good Texas wines. The grilled entrees are always spectacular. Latest trip for Valentines weekend was on target. With another couple relaxing from a long day on the wine trail with high expectations. All agreed the food, service and atmosphere was excellent. Filets cooked to perfection, sides were well proportioned.

Really look forward to anytime we are there. Reservations at least a few days before if not longer are strongly recommended maybe longer if you want to eat earlier on special event weekends.
