Owner description: Wildseed Farms is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, just seven miles east of Fredericksburg, Texas. Come by and see us seven days a week, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Bring the camera and capture the ultimate in wildflower photographs! Spend as much time as you like at the farm's activities. We have 200 acres of wildflowers in various stages of development here on the farm. Springtime visitors will likely see Texas bluebonnets, red corn poppies, phlox, and a gorgeous array of other spring flowers. Summer visitors will enjoy cosmos, sunflowers, zinnias and other warm weather bloomers. In the fall, the fields are planted for the following year's color, but our Nursery is well stocked with a variety of choices for fall planting and colorful pumpkins adorn the grounds around The Shops at Wildseed Farms which are brimming with delightful gifts for home and garden. And don’t forget to browse our incredible selection of wildflower seeds as well as our seven regional mixes for anywhere in the U.S.

Every time we've visited Fredricksburg we've made a point to visit Wildseem Farms. The grounds are spectacular, and the shop has a lot to offer in the way of gifts, seeds, and every kind of gardening stuff. Let the gardens help you get ideas for home.

I like everything about Wildseed Farms. Seeds that are harvested and packaged right on site. Gifts galore. Wine tasting and sandwiches. Cat watching.

We actually visit Wildseed Farms frequently. We drive up from San Antonio to Fredericksburg about once a month. We always stop at Wildseed! We love hanging out and tasting wines, and the great foods that are there. The festivals they have throughout the year are a must! It is great to go out and enjoy wine and food and listen to fabulous music.

During wildflower season - the fields are gorgeous! I go crazy taking pictures of all the beauty that is around. We have also purchased some great gifts and flowers from Wildseed and they are always a welcome sight from our friends!

Make sure you put this on your list of Must Do's while visiting the Hill Country!~

My wife and i popped in here to check it out. It's more of a wild flower nursery farm. We learned a lot while strolling through and there are plenty of nick knacks for the grand parents and fashionblle apparel for the ladies. They do have a large selection of wild flower seeds to purchase on one end of the farm.

Even though we visited in December, this attraction features lots of seeds, gifts, pottery, Christmas decorations, etc. We tasted wine at the Brew Bonnet and ate cheese and sausage there too. The praline pecan butter was excellent.
