Owner description: Wildseed Farms is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, just seven miles east of Fredericksburg, Texas. Come by and see us seven days a week, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Bring the camera and capture the ultimate in wildflower photographs! Spend as much time as you like at the farm's activities. We have 200 acres of wildflowers in various stages of development here on the farm. Springtime visitors will likely see Texas bluebonnets, red corn poppies, phlox, and a gorgeous array of other spring flowers. Summer visitors will enjoy cosmos, sunflowers, zinnias and other warm weather bloomers. In the fall, the fields are planted for the following year's color, but our Nursery is well stocked with a variety of choices for fall planting and colorful pumpkins adorn the grounds around The Shops at Wildseed Farms which are brimming with delightful gifts for home and garden. And don’t forget to browse our incredible selection of wildflower seeds as well as our seven regional mixes for anywhere in the U.S.

“Nice stop just east of Fredericksburg”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

Love this place, especially in spring when their fields of wild flowers are in bloom. Lots of very nice merchandise in their gift shops, also jams and jellies, lawn & garden decorations, and so much more. A truly fun place to visit,

“I'm coming back in the Spring!”
Reviewed November 24, 2012

This place is amazing!! Food, clothes, wine, seeds, plants, and the place just goes on and on. Didn't expect to find the Bread and Butter pickles and pickled quail eggs that I love so much, not to mention the salsa, raspberry chipotle preserves! Oh, and great wildflower seed packets!!

“Wildseed Farms is a nice place for a garden stroll”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Nice place to walk and view the gardens. Although not much was blooming this time of year, there were lovely garden sculptures and a large selection of garden items for sale.

“Go often”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

As a local I go often and take friends. I like the food, the flowers, the gifts and the cats who roam. These folks are great community partners who deserve to be supported.

“Visit this place!”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

Loved the gift shop; there were lots of items to appeal to many different people. Merchandise was cute and cleverly displayed. They also have a small snack bar where you could get a picnic lunch to go or eat at one of their little tables. Flowers, plants, seeds, home decor, apparel, food--they have it all. Plan a visit; you will enjoy it.
