Review of Texas Wine Cellars

Texas Wine Cellars

Wine tasting room, carries wines from a large number of Texas wineries, mostly near Fredericksburg, but also from elsewhere in state, so great opportunity to try multiple wineries all in one place. Wine tastings were small, but also inexpensive, and per bottle prices reasonable.

They charged us for a 18 dollar tumbler and didn’t even ask. Terrible business, does not deserve to be in operation.

Wine, beer, and frozen sangrias and bellinis - everyone can find something here. Loved the selection and found some great wineries to visit! We upgraded to the very cute glass logo glasses which we enjoyed carrying down Main Street. Not a great place to buy bottles - $5-10 more expensive than the same bottle elsewhere on Main Street. We will definitely come back for samples and to go servings. Also - very impressive amd well-curated Texas beer selection.

I love to go here and shop and sample their wines. They have the cutest t shirts, jewelry and other gift items. They are always so nice when I go in and it has a very comfortable atmosphere.

There are a lot of wines to try, but we only had one tasting at $1.00 a taste. Because....the lady behind the counter was not very friendly. She actually argued with the other gentleman that was working with her. It was a very uncomfortable wine tasting experience. The elderly gentleman who was walking around the store was friendly, but she was the one behind the counter to assist us. She was not very happy, nor did she try very hard to help us out. I realize this is Spring Break, but if you don’t like your job, find another place to work. It wasn’t even very busy when we were there. Very disappointing...
