“Delightful find”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

On a busy Friday night for Fredericksburg, our party of four was greeted and seated in a timely manner. Lovely venue both inside and out--it was a nice night so the outdoor dining made the experience even better. We shared small plates and one entree--all were wonderful but the venison entree was excellent. Would definitely go back!

“Wish this restaurant was in my town”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

Went there last week while on vacation there. I am not one to love going out that much since food is generally equal in quality what i could cook at home. But Adam's twist on ingredients and flavor is amazing. I just checked the menu for this week since it changes each week and wishing i wasn't 100's of miles away. Fredericksburg and local towns you are so lucky to have this chef in your town!

“FABULOUS! GO HERE!”
Reviewed October 18, 2013 via mobile

You will be thrilled you did!!

Newly opened in Fredericksburg, this restaurant has it all: outstanding food, service, and bar selections along with welcoming and accommodating service.

Highly recommend the wurst appetizer and the bread and butter plate. The bread is so delicious and replenished if you wish. We had a curry wurst and a paprika wurst which are handmade by the chef. So much flavor! The Sweet Potato Maultaschen (German ravioli) are an entree but we ordered it as a shared appy. Outstanding!

I had the Scallops, my husband had the Duckschnitzel and we shared because BOTH were so delicious. Chef Adam's dishes have divinely complex flavor profiles. SO MUCH FLAVOR going on!

“Great atmosphere, casual and contemporary!”
Reviewed October 4, 2013

Tucked behind the Nimitz museum is a gem of a little bistro. You won't believe tat you are in Fredericksburg-although the menu does include German favorites. On my first visit I tried the halibut and was immediately smiling and cooing over the wonderful presentation and flavor. Wines by the glass are a bit pricy given the size of the pour but offer a nice selection. Great service too!

“Fine dining gem.”
Reviewed September 29, 2013 via mobile

Our first visit was was during their soft opening as suggested by the gal at House Wine (also a fav). We enjoyed ourselves immensely; attentive service, charming ambiance, and great food. We've been back and had a repeat experience. Tables are limited inside which can be challenging in hot weather. The wine list is thoughtful and modestly priced, and the Sommelier knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They all have tremendous passion for what they're doing which adds favorably to the experience.
