WOW!!!! Probably one of the bet desserts I have eaten, and this girl has eaten a lot of wonderful desserts. I really wasn't paying attention, full and content from a wonderful dinner. All I heard was "... poached pear tart with some kind of Homemade semifredo, baked praline on top, with salt caramel drizzle." It was amazing from the first small bite. Pears poached perfectly - not too soft, and maintained the most amazing fresh pear flavor. The crust tasted like it could have been a pecan crust - flakey, but stayed together, and a perfect companion to the pear. The semi-fredo - delicate, light and fluffy. Baked praline - I heard it was excellent (my dinner companions fought over it. And the salted caramel - just perfect not too salty, not to sweet and caramelly.
A side note - the pasta, wolf fish and other entrees were also excellent. On a previous visit, the scallops and the duck schnitzel have had us talking about our return visit for weeks. A little treasure of a restaurant ...... Love it!!!!!
