“Best Wines”
Reviewed April 7, 2014

We stopped for a bite to eat at the bistro and a wine tasting. The bistro was busy and took a while to get our food but it was good for a quick bite to eat. The red wines were delicious.

“Great wine...service not so much”
Reviewed March 2, 2014

Inwood Estates had the best wine we tasted all day, but the service was horrible. I would have to agree with the previous poster who said they had "an arrogance and air of self-importance that...didn't match the friendliness, graciousness (and humbleness) of the staff from the other wineries." It felt like they thought they were doing us a big favor by allowing us to try their wine. I'd recommend skipping the tasting and just buy a bottle of their wine to enjoy at home without the attitude.

“Best Wine!”
Reviewed February 25, 2014

We stopped by this winery originally because they have a bistro and there aren't any food choices on this stretch of 290. So glad that we did, the food was great but the wine was AMAZING...definitely the best wine that we tasted our entire trip. I am not a fan of sweet wines that we tasted in most of the wineries we visited so it was a pleasant treat.

“Start Here First”
Reviewed February 18, 2014

The owners here provided so much knowledge about what constitutes as a Texas Wine and where the local grapes in Texas could be grown. The wine quality here stood out. If you are looking for a Texas wine that taste great stop here. They also have one of the only food places in this area. The food is also great.

“Great wine, but need an attitude adjustment”
Reviewed January 26, 2014

These folks have made and continue to make great wine at other locations, and this winery location is apparently new to this area. Unfortunately, there was an arrogance and air of self-importance expressed by our wine tasting host that didn't match the friendliness, graciousness (and humbleness) of the staff from the other wineries that have operated in this area for some time. Whether our host represented the opinions of others from this winery were unknown to us, but made us wonder. This place makes great wine, but overpriced in our opinion, especially when you get a chance to see what other wineries offer in the area. We'd recommend several other established local places before this stop on your wine tasting journey.
