“Food overload!”

Fredricksburg Trade Days
Attraction details
Reviewed July 23, 2013 via mobile

We are flea market junkies. Trade Days is always awesome. Antiques and home crafts to jewelry and jelly! There is a very inexpensive hat booth and a jewelry booth that usually has everything @ $7. However what keeps our hearts coming back is the food!!! No joke the fry shack and Jerrys court yard grill are the nicest people with the most amazing food I have ever had. Fried pickles and fried snickes keep me content as my husband checks out the beer memorabilia. (booth behind Jerrys court yard grill) And on hot summer days their free refill on sweet tea comes in handy!

We were driving from austin to san antonio and wanted to take a detour via fredricksburg. On our way there, our car made a sudden u turn when we saw what seemed like a market of some sort. In our week in texas so far, this was a real treat. Yes, it was hot, but boy! The things you see and the people you meet are just incredible. If you are looking for electronics or the like, this is not the place obviously. But if you like antiques, and some real nice texan souvenirs, this is the place. The kids had a lot of fun, we loved going through the market, and it was just a nice taste of texas. This doesnt happen everyday, so be sure to check!!!! You will find things of all sorts, but it is not that cheap. There are some hidden jewels in those stands and you have to look real close to find them.....dont miss it!

Enjoyable day out with a good assortment of nice new merchandise as well as lots of fun old stuff to sift through looking for whatever you collect!

All in all the place was not bad but we are not much into antiques and that is what most of it was. If you like antiques this is a good place to go
