What could have brought in a higher rating? Maybe a view or exceptional location or a 5-star chef. I don't know. We enjoyed this older, charming house done-up for a nice, contemporary cafe. The air seemed fresh and the decor was nice. I had the rib-eye which is done as a sandwich on a hearty fresh bread with spring mix lettuce and spread with arugula mayo. Really tasty. My salad was just fine and crisp. Husband had the "chicken-fried" steak which was unusual and delicious in that it is prepared with buttermilk and corn meal and served with delicious mashed potatoes and al dente veges. Couldn't be better. Even the iced tea was good. The service today was exceptional by all, especially our charming server, Jamie. Their info states that they serve breakfast. I am not sure of their hours, so you may want to check ahead.
