In a town that has hundreds of stores with the exact same items in it, this restaurant & shop are a breath of fresh air. The downstairs bistro serves excellent food with an eclectic twist. I had a club sandwich (big enough to feed at least two people) made on a delicious harvest bread. Several good options to choose from and all the food coming out of the kitchen looked great.
Upstairs, the furniture and accessories were beautiful. All high quality merchandise I would love to have in my house. Many items had the look of fine craftsmanship and I wondered if things had been made locally. I saw a huge wooden tabletop (would easily seat 14 people) I would build a house around if I were able. Lots of beautiful, high quality furniture in a modern, attractive space. Super friendly staff. There aren't many places in Fredericksburg I'd plan to shop in if I needed something for my home, but I'd travel there for this place and look forward to a great lunch as part of the bargain.
