“Fantastic Museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2013

Plan to spend a day visiting this historic site and the National Museum of the Pacific War. The exhibits were so interesting and professionally done. The 2 men in our group, Vietnam Nam vets, were especially fascinated by the displays.

“What a neat find in back roads Texas”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2013

I had no idea this museum was here. I am a Navy veteran and huge fan of Naval history.

Admiral Nimitz made amazing contributions to our country and his type of leadership is rare.

The folks who oversee this museum have done a good job displaying his life as well as the associated time in American history that was so pivotal for democracy worldwide.

I will most certainly visit again.

Well worth the entry fee and time.

“Very good information”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 3, 2013

Had very good information. Some displays where hard to read. Would sure appreciate it if museums would enlarge the writing so those of us with vision problems could actually read it themselves or have speaking tours as an option.

“Definately worth it.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 30, 2013

Yes, I agree with Gma51 review, very well done. I stalled at the $14 admission, but the museum is well worth it, even though I got there only 2 hours before closing, and missed seeing much of it. I plan on returning when I can spend a whole day or more. The displays were interesting, and really had a way of drawing the viewer into in the battle or wartime situation. WW II shaped global future for many generations, and this is a worthy testament to the fortitude and determination of our country, and to the GREATEST GENERATION. Thank a vet.

“Reenactment is AMAZING!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

We took our son and his friend here for the Pacific War reenactment that my parents had seen during their visit the spring of the year. We purchased our tickets and had to walk a bit to get to the reenactment site from where we bought our tickets--but the weather was perfect and the streets are wide and easy to navigate. They do a performance that would teach the unteachable about the war and weapons---such a great event for kids in school to see! We watched the performance and then walked through all of the different buildings--lots to see! So worth the trip!
