Booked through Priceline which requested nonsmoking room. Put in the one room that apparently the whole army has smoked in. Given a scented candle and febreze and told to deal with it. We are driving cross country and have stayed at Marriott properties where you can breathe and have paid less and stayed in nicer. The rug is stained, the ceiling is stained, the smell is horrible. The town is great but what a way to ruin a great night. Don't stay here for any reason. Wasn't even cheap. Paid $100 for the night. Thank goodness we only booked one night.

My husband and I got this room through using Priceline. When we saw this was our room we were ok with it, as the Super 8's near us are fairly nice for a budget hotel. Although the location was great, when we got there, the rest was a nightmare. When we arrived in our room it smelled very musty and there were many dead bugs on the floor in the room and bathroom. Since we had prepaid for the room, with no option of refund we tried to be positive; however we should have just taken the money as a loss and stayed elsewhere. When we woke up after our second night there, there was a bug that had gotten into our bed, as well as 2 COCKROACHES that were running across the floor. Thank goodness that was the day we were checking out. I have made attempts to contact the manager for a refund of my money and at this time have received no response. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Also, the floors were so dirty that after wearing my socks around for a few hours, the bottoms of them were black.

I had reserved this hotel on Hotwire and I have to admit I was a bit disappointed when I found out it was a Super 8 but once we got there it really wasn't all that bad. The location is great, located right on Main Street. We had adjoining rooms so that was nice. Our rooms had a refrigerator, the beds were comfy enough. The bathrooms we older and could use some deep cleaning but overall it was just a place to sleep. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a very small pool but it was drained.

We stayed here for one night and paid a total of $62.83 for a double. The room had a microwave & refrigerator in addition to a tv & wifi. It was a cold, wet night outside and the room had excellent heating. The staff was very nice and accommodating and the place is located about two blocks from the Pacific War Museum so it is in a very good location. However, the continental breakfast wasn't that great and the selection was very limited but, with the price of the room being so low, we went out for an excellent breakfast at a nearby cafe.

Nice enough room, very clean, beds ok, friendly staff. Wife luckily took her shower before we went to sleep. However,I waited till about 8:00 am to shower before going shopping. Big mistake there! Absolutely no hot water available at all. Not even warm water. A very "cold" ending to an otherwise nice overnight stay. When we mentioned it to staff while turning in the keys upon checkout, the lady said, sorry, dont know whats wrong with the hot water today. I have a clue! Get a much larger hot water heater- system to match the number of rooms you have avail to rent, with fast enough recovery to overcome supply & demand!! They do MAKE those type systems!,... and Im sure the owners could afford it, and eliminate their customers to leave on a long trip home before they could shower. Seems even @ $70 per nite stay, with that many units, someone needs to get off their back-pocket (owners) or get out of the hotel business, period.
