We spent 3 nights here and were generally pleased. It is a newer facility so things are still in good shape and they keep it all clean. The room was a good size - large enough for a king-sized bed and a small couch. We were on the second floor and it was very quiet. Breakfast was just OK with the typical cold cereal, bagels, breads, muffins, etc. There was a little device keeping biscuits and gravy warm as well as some awful scrambled eggs. In the next room were a couple of waffle makers that were the best part of the meal. They'd be better with hard-boiled eggs instead of the over-cooked scrambled nuggets. There is a nice pool on the west side that was too cold for us to try.
It is almost walking distance downtown which means it is a quick drive and there is plenty of free parking on main street.

I took six adults and sixteen students for a two night field trip. Lora, the manager, worked tirelessly to help us. The rooms were very comfortable, the pool clean and inviting, and the staff - well the very best. We will be back!

My wife and I have been travelling back and forth to Fredericksburg while we're building a home there. Best Western has consistently provided us with the best accomodations at a reasonable price. Rooms are invariably clean, with excellent beds. Do not expect a gourmet breakfast, though. Selection is not bad, but if you like your eggs, forget it. Standard fare is scrambled, hard, and dry. Sausage patties are basically tasteless. If you're OK with a few pastries, yogurt, or perhaps making your own waffles, it's fine. Coffee is quite good. Front desk staff is exemplary.

The staff and service was GREAT!!! I was taken to the Emergency room at the hospital on arrival in Fredericksburg. Prior to my release my friends called the hotel to see if we could get an early check-in and was told YES! The room was great and so was the staff. The only problem was the "coffee-pot" Please, Please--how about a real coffee pot in the rooms? The current one is a JOKE!! Whoever though of them has never had a good cup of coffee. HELP!!! My husband and I stay at this hotel frequently and have recommended it to many our friends.

like most of the times we do like our stay in BW hotels. This one had the only disadvantage, that after arriving around 7:30pm, we decided taking the car to town to get some dinner, bc it was a long way, walking on streets not well lighted and without any sidewalk. Since it was not crowded we didn't have any problems with parking.
