This was our first visit to Fredericksburg and it was a marvelous experience!! We stayed in the Bolinger Cabin, an historic Texas cabin, part of the B&B property, that was beautifully, and charmingly restored an appointed with both authentic antiques and modern amenities. We loved sitting on the porch swing in the evenings. Sam was very kind to cook my steak on his grill (ask him about it's famous history) and it was expertly cooked to perfection. Breakfast was wonderful, with buttermilk pancakes with fresh peaches. Don't forget the other welcoming committee, the cat Elton John and the resident pup, "Paco.". You will feel welcomed and refreshed after staying here!!
