My husband and I needed a weekend escape and we found one at the Carriage House cottage. A wonderful one bedroom cottage with all the amenities. There is a small kichtenette, coffee maker, large flat screen TV, and breakfast gift cards for in the morning. We had our own private entrance and exit. We could come and go without distributing anyone. I would highly suggest that if you want a quiet place to relax, check this B&B out. It is located just a couple blocks off of Main Street, close enough to walk to a lot of the shops and restaurants.

Room Tip: The bed is very high, so use the stools provided.

A lovely exterior hides dated and old furnished rooms. The TV on the dresser was small and difficult to watch. The amenities were subpar and the shower was miniature. Breakfast was slow with bowls filled with deli samples of jam and peanut butter. The attendant was friendly. We have no clue who served us as she never introduced herself. Good location with parking .

Room Tip: See the rooms before paying

I loved the carriage house! I hosted a bachelorette party there with 10 people and it was the perfect size for all of us and our wine tour picked us up right outside the house! It was a lovely stay and was very clean. There are two cute balconies you can go out and drink some wine. The house was adorable and I loved staying here.

Spent 3 nights in the cottage with our 2 Labrador Retrievers. The cottage was very tastefully furnished, comfy, quiet and the perfect place within walking distance (2 blocks) of main street and the Nimitz Museum. The fenced yard was perfect for our lab kids to get out and stretch their legs. Enjoyed the courtyard with a bottle of wine of an evening. We would go back any time we were in Fredericksburg!

Two high school besties taking a weekend for themselves to unwind. This was the perfect place to stay, we only wish we had longer to stay there. Great location and we will definitely return! I would love to stay at one of the larger places for longer with my husband.

Room Tip: We didn't try any pool or fitness center, so I rated as average.
