My husband and I stayed here for one night for a quick getaway from Austin on a Saturday in April. I have to say the pictures don't really do it justice! The decor is impeccable, rustic chic I would say. Lots of small touches that really make it homey. I could have easily spent the whole time indoors curled up on the couch. The weather was cool for April and we contemplated a fire in the beautiful fireplace, but since we only had one day we decided to spend it out and about enjoying wine tasting and live music Saturday night and shopping and a wonderful brunch at our favorite - Rathskellar on Main Street on Sunday.
I could spend hours on the front porch as well, charming and comfortable furniture and a view of the large back yard with bird and hummingbird feeders, wildflowers and just an all around peaceful vibe.
We met the owner Bob upon arrival, he is super friendly and told us to let him know if we needed anything, which of course we didn't!
Keep in mind that this is a converted old barn so sounds travel, so probably best for a couple or a family as opposed to two couples.
