We visited the nearby Pacific War Museum and chose to eat our meal at the Silver Creek restaurant. Our waiter was very friendly. He was prompt at the beginning, but less so as the restaurant became busier. We ate there in the early evening. We sat in the outside patio. We did not have problems with flying insects, but there are ants on the patio. We enjoyed our food very much, especially our dessert.

We had a very poor experience here for a weekend lunch. The food wasn't bad, but was overpriced.

The service experience was awful. It felt as though we were bothering our waitress with routine requests--drinks, our order, request for the check. We were up against a time deadline and went to pay our check at the bar. The waitress there was also bothered by our request and started to help us only after rolling her eyes.

We will not return.

I came to Fredericksburg with a group of friends. This restaurant was recommended by a waiter from another restaurant. There were 10 of us and we were seated pretty quickly. Our waiter was very attentive and we received our drinks, appetizers, and meals very promptly. There was live music which was nice. I had the calamari appetizer which had very little flavor. I also had the 8 oz ribeye which came with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. It was pretty good. Overall, the food and service was good. It was a hot Texas evening and we were seated near the front door which stayed open the entiire time. Because of that, we were fighting flies and gnats throughout our meal so that took away from our enjoyment. I would eat here again but it did not make me want to rush back.

LIve music in a comfortable atmosphere. The food was wonderful. They have a nice mixture of German, Texmex and steaks. We had a wonderful wait person who was helpful in determining the ingredients in several of their dishes. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great service for our large party. We were famished so the food tasted better than it would have otherwise. A little overpriced.
