Brought two out of state (RI & NY) friends here for dinner on a Friday night after touring the LBJ Ranch, Becker Vineyards and Luckenbach. It was about 8pm and the place was packed front to back. As we started to leave in search of a quieter restaurant we found two inside rooms with tables open. We seated ourselves and ordered. Service was slow, but waiter was attentive. Took a while for our food to arrive, but we weren't in any particular hurry. Two out of the three of us enjoyed our food. The maple pecan chicken breast and Bavarian Jaeger Schnitzel were both great. My other guest ordered the vegetable soup (soup of the day) and a Quesadilla to go. She said the soup was too spicy to eat. The waiter upon seeing her full bowl of soup and hearing her complaint comped it. I thought that was very nice of him. I'd go again and I think RI would too.
