We had our main meal of the day here today about 1:30 p.m. and I was so looking forward to some good German fare. The place was busy, but not overly crowded and we were seated right away. I ordered a glass of the house chardonnay and our waitress suggested, I might prefer a more expensive glass of wine. We both opted for the beer samplers instead, which we both enjoyed. We ordered the Sausage Sampler and the Schinken Schnitzel. The latter was lukewarm, very thin, very dry and seemed to have been reheated several times prior to serving. The menu also says it is served with a Dijon Cream sauce, when in fact, it came with a brown gravy poured over it - which still did not help the dryness. The sides for the two dinner plates were German Potato Salad, red cabbage, onion rings and beer battered fries. All of the sides were tasty but also lukewarm in spite of the fact that the food came promptly to our table, not long after ordering. One would have thought it would have been made fresh and served hot. Our waitress was apologetic when we told her and offered to take the plates back, but I feared they would just be re-heated one more time in a microwave and the food would be less palatable. Don't waste your money - go somewhere else. We would not return to this restaurant as there are too many other choices for good German food in the area.
