People lied. As we were trudging to the top, the ones coming down kept saying- not much more! That being said, it was a beautiful day and a challenging but doable trek to the top. The worst part of the experience was actually waiting to get into the park. Go early and take water. Beautiful vistas from the top.

We hiked to the top of Enchanted Rock and were underwhelmed by the view. It's Central Texas, there's not exactly a lot to look at from high up. I was more impressed with the views at ground level. The Loop Trail is really pretty. Lots of great views from the bottom.

Lovely place and impressive rock but the Carpark/entry fee was far too much. Worked out at just under $40 for a family of five, which was just too much. It's a bit of an odd idea to charge to go up a natural rock..

This is a natural wonder in granite that is beautiful to see and even more fun to hike around on as well as around. The summit is the iconic piece, but several other towering rock hills boast more hiking, repelling and camping. It is a great get away and a wonderful place to spend the night watching the stars.

My girlfriend and I hiked to the top of Enchanted Rock and watched the sunset. We packed wine and two plastic wine glasses in our back pack and experienced a very romantic sunset. It was extremely windy and cold at the top but we found a perfect wind shelter behind some rocks at the top which provided a comfortable setting. The hike is fairly easy and takes less than 30 minutes to reach the top of the rock. This is a must see destination as the view of the hill country couldn’t be any better than from the top of this rock.
