I visit E-Rock several times a year. It is such an awesome place to get away for hikes or simply explore. You can challenge your body but climbing the Summit trail straight up or take a leisurely walk around the perimeter trails. My favorite part is Little Rock which is just to the side. Lots of things to see and a less traveled area. Be one with nature and have a great time. You will not be disappointed!

We have always wanted to climb Enchanted Rock. It was a beautiful day in October to do it. I do not recommend doing this when it's 100+ outside. Or if you do, bring PLENTY of water. It's a steep climb, but if you take your time it's great!!

Now that it is fall in the Texas hill country, the perfect time to visit Enchanted Rock State Park is here. Awesome experience for the whole family. Primitive camping is available, but is only a short drive to Llano or Fredericksburg for those looking for a little more creature comfort. Climb the dome, explore the caves, & hike to your heart's content. Awesome rappelling off the back side for those so inclined!

Amazing fall trip. Great hike and weather - rangers were very helpful. Make sure to bring water with you on the hike to the Summit and plan your trip earlier in the day before the rock heats up.

We enjoyed a wonderful hike to the summit of Enchanted Rock, followed by completing the Loop Trail. Definitely recommend getting to the park early, as the parking can fill up...and even in November, it gets HOT! A wonderful way to enjoy the Texas Hill Country. $6 entry fee per person definitely worth it! We packed a picnic lunch..plently of picnic benches available! Look forward to our next hike!
