“Live music, better than Branson”

We attend regularly because the show changes every week. Always a great musical experience! Rock & roll, some country, comedy, gospel, and soul.

“Good Clean Entertainment”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

If you are going to the Hill Country in Texas a visit to the RockBox Theater in Fredericksburg, Tx is a must. They have the best shows we have ever attended. It is a must see. The regular performers are terrific and really entertain the crowd. It is such a good show no matter what kind of show they are putting on. Will go back again next year.

“Small-town entertainment”
Reviewed May 12, 2013

It pains me to write this review because it is obvious that a lot of people really, really love the shows at the Rockbox Theater, but I thought it was important to share a different perspective: that of a person who is accustomed to larger venues and Broadway Across America-type performances. Compared to professional shows in larger cities, the singing at the Rockbox simply didn't stack up. Nedgra Culp was the main exception -- her voice is incredible (and, indeed, she has performed at much bigger venues across the country).

If you do go, look for the "Joining Forces" promotion with the Museum of the Pacific War to take advantage of a $30 combined ticket to the show and the museum (otherwise, the show starts at $32 and museum admission is $14).

“Top Notch Talent & High Energy Entertainment”
Reviewed May 3, 2013

Since the spring of 2012, I've been to 3 regular shows, a guest show (the Diamond's) and their Christmas show. The Christmas show is an absolute must - it is fantastic. The cast is high energy, talented, funny and provide first rate "G" entertainment. Although they claim to change the shows on a regular basis, we've seen the same skits and many of the same songs each time we've attended. Every musician and singer is a professional in every sense of the word. The instrumentals are spot-on and their emulation of the original singers is very good. It's located one block off of Main on Hwy 16/Lano. The pretzels and home made cookies are a treat as well.

“Great Fun!”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

The cast is really quite talented and they make this show a fun adventure back into the days when entertainment was both wholesome and light-hearted.
