We stayed at the Worthington during the latter part of June for a wedding. Our room was spacious, very clean, and well appointed with two double beds, roomy bath w/ shower, cable television and PPV, free high speed internet and plenty of ports for every tech device imaginable. Our tenth floor view overlooking downtown Fort Worth was simply spectacular. The staff were very friendly and accommodating although we did have a bit of a kerfluffle straightening out our final bill.
The breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant, Vidalia's, was excellent. The standard eggs, bacon, sausage, fried potatoes, etc., were accompanied by an omelet station, pancakes and waffles. The magaritas were delish but a little pricey at $9.00 each. We didn't order room service but the menu looked quite tasty and varied.
I really enjoyed working out in the Fitness and Recreation Center. The treadmills, ellipticals, recumbent bikes, etc., were all equipped with televisions and there were strength conditioning machines and free weights available to work every part of the body. The only drawback was the indoor pool which was relatively small.
The best part of our stay, besides the wedding, was our hotel location. We were surrounded by numerous restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, and shopping boutiques. My only complaint is valet parking - we once waited nearly 15 minutes for our car to be retrieved. Otherwise everything was top notch.More
