“Very nice!”
Reviewed January 8, 2008

My wife and I stayed here for a convention that was held down the street. Check in took a little longer than I expected. Apparently there was an Enterprise rental car convention in this hotel and every one arrived at the same time to check in. Other than that, our stay was uneventful, and our room was very nice and clean. We had breakfast in the lobby restaurant and it was very good! Also, if you have time in the evening, check out Four Day Weekend. They are an improv group that has a theater right down the street from the hotel. HILARIOUS!!!

Stayed again at the Hilton while attending a convention for my work. I have now stayed here the last three years and the only major change I can see is that they are re-doing the front part of the hotel. All else was clean and proper as it should be.

We were at the hotel for a Taekwondo tournament at the convention center and only stayed one night . when we went to the room they was still in the room cleaning . They did not bring any bed sheets out when done. she was cleaning the floor, but it looked like they need to pull the carpet up and burn it ( spots every where) . the shower had mold in the grout. The room was very small with two full sizes beds and a big tv. cabonit , a dest ,in tables and a chair. you could not walk around the beds without hitting something on the way around. when you looked out the window you saw constution . The frunt dest was nice, but no one stoped to ask if we need any help with our bags. As if we were not good enough : look away they may need something! The price was way too high we paid $ 217 with tax . we live in AR so things are not that high , at the pebody hotel you will pay not much over $100 and have much more to the room , biger beds breakfast , and a nice vew. So we exspected more from the Helton.

What a wonderful hotel! I stayed 31Aug-01Sep2007. The hotel is doing some renovation; it never interfered with my stay. While inside one would never know a renovation was going on. All the staff, desk, valet, restaurant, were friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Once you're done imagining you might be in the very room where JFK spent his last night, you find you're in a very average hotel. Room was really large and comfortable, but there are nicer accommodations all over downtown

The Hilton hires temporary "day worker" employees to set up for their functions. One of them stole my purse while I was decorating tables. They are left unsupervised to wander about in the hotel wherever they wish.
The hotel's response was abysmal and security was incompetent. They didn't even check the men's rooms until I suggested it! The only followup contact I received was a voicemail from a manager saying that "if I wanted to", I was welcome to call back and talk.
So, beware of your belongings while staying at this hotel. And ask if they have any temporary day workers on site.
