“Great Burgers”
Reviewed December 26, 2012

We discovered Pappas Burger in the Houston Airport and actually plan layovers around getting to eat there. This location served the same great burgers with great service. The portions are HUGE! It may be a littlepricey for burgers and fries, but no more than any other place where the quality is high. It was busy, but were were never overlooked and our meal was served very quickly. Definitley will return.

“Great Great burgers”
Reviewed November 30, 2012

This place is almost always packed, and rightly so. It's a great place for a good old-fashioned burger or more. Great fries and very clean. Any Pappas restaurant is always good, though a bit pricey.

“Overpriced and Weird Service”
Reviewed November 9, 2012 via mobile

We knew in advance the burgers were pretty pricey but large so we decided we'd go anyway and just split one burger between us. We had one water and one lemonade, one burger and this somehow totaled to over $18 !!
We were not warned but it turns out there is a substantial fee for "splitting" a burger and it made the burger about $13.
What's more, you order up front and a cashier gives you the check which you take to your table. But she doesn't take your money. she gives you the check to take to a table, then a waiter comes and takes your check and manages your food. Service was slow, then it took him some time to give the check back to us so we could pay.
I could easily get three complete and better burger meals at Kincaids for what we spent at Papas on one burger. We will never go to Papas again.

“Good burger, great dessert, outstanding service”
Reviewed November 4, 2012

Met a work colleague here for lunch -- it was my first time going, but he'd been there several times before. They feature an unusual hybrid ordering procedure -- you go in and order at a counter from a menu board on the wall, but you don't pay at the counter -- instead, you take your ticket to your seat, where a waiter picks it up, and from there it's standard sit-down restaurant service. They have a lot of different kinds of burgers, as well as plenty of non-burger entrees.

I opted for a Nickel Burger, just a basic 1/3 lb. burger with fries, and I would say it was above average as burgers go. My colleague got a Blue Cheeseburger and likewise enjoyed it. The nice surprise was when the floor manager asked if we'd been there before. I said I hadn't, so she gave me a free dessert to show her appreciation for our patronage. And it wasn't a mini-dessert either, it was a huge Warm Cookie Sundae, featuring big chunks of chocolate-chip cookie under ice cream and all the regular sundae trimmings, in a large glass. Unfortunately, we weren't able to finish it between the two of us, but it was a great dessert and a nice gesture.
