“Billions and Billions of Dollars, oh my!”
Reviewed March 25, 2014

Upon arrival we went through a body scan for security. No big deal. We saw a video how money is made and about the facility. Very informational. We saw how money is made high up while the presses and people were below. Very friendly place. Many of the workers waved to us. There are two floors of interactive exhibits showing history currency both before and after the self guided tour. The gift shop had reasonable priced items. I got a pair of sunglassees for $5.00, a water bottle for $5.00 and a tray for $4.50. There are also . Restrooms and vending machines.

Great place to visit.

Reservations are not required, and visitors are welcome on a first come, first served basis. Visitors should allow an additional 30 minutes to clear WCF security. The tour itself is approximately 45 minutes along the quarter-mile elevated walkway.

“Great place to take the whole family!”
Reviewed March 22, 2014

I was looking for a fun and interactive activity to take my kids to this past summer. This place was great! You can't take cameras in or anything metal. You take a shuttle bus from the parking lot to the main building. It's free. Admission is also FREE!!! They have many exhibits throughout the building and they even have tours that are also free that show how they actually make money. A real gem here in Fort Worth!

The self guided your was very informative as to how money is made, especially the new $100 bill. During spring break week, they had other interactive displays set up that were very informative? Would highly recommend this tour. You are not allowed to take in cameras ans cell phones; they must be left in your car.

“Show us the money/sell us the money”
Reviewed March 5, 2014 via mobile

Doesn't matter if you have been to DC and done the money tour there or not, this place is so interesting. Take the tour as it is free, and you will enjoy the self paced tour. Everyone is friendly and they actually wave to you while they are working. At the end take a tour of the museum style atmosphere to learn new facts about paper money. This place only prints paper money. Go to the gift shop and buy some uncut money. Remember that you want the money printed there and not dc. Go to dc and get money printed there.

This is a very interesting and fun for all.

No electronics are allowed, including but not limited to cell phones, cameras, etc...

“Money! Money! Money!”
Reviewed February 21, 2014 via mobile

I never knew what a "treasure" we had in Fort Worth with the Bureau of Engraving and Printing! We took the grandkids, ages 7 and 9, and they loved the whole experience! The big folks (Nana and Grandpa) enjoyed it, too! With a wonderful free tour and interactive exhibits, it's an educational experience worth the short drive into the rural outskirts of the city. My grandkids now proudly show others how to identify paper money made here in Fort Worth. This is a hidden gem in the DFW area!
