“Wow! Who knew?! Right in Ft Worth!”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

This place is honestly worth making a trip to Ft Worth EVEN IF YOU TURN AROUND AND GO HOME AFTERWARD! If you have ever squeezed into the original Bureau in D.C., you know it was not designed for tourists. But this new one? Incredible! Free admission. Great tour guides. Cool gift shop (how many kids wouldn't like a bag of shredded money?!). We were lucky to visit once during a special event and met one of the 5 people in the US who puts bills back together when they are burned or partially destroyed in some way. Watched her work. Listened to some great stories. Fascinating. Go and see forklift pallets full of bills being driven around! Check the bills in your pocket right now a d look for the "FW" ... Yep, it was printed in Ft Worth Texas!

“Money, Money, Money”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

How paper money gets made is much more than I expected, really a treat to watch. A audio self tour leads you through the multiple stages of printing paper currency. It is much more involved than I would have ever imagined. A great learning experience. There is also an extensive historical tour tracing the history of money and currency through the centuries, especially US currency. The security at the Bureau is tight; no cell phones, cameras or other electronic device, and no weapon including knives. My artificial knee set off the alarms and I got a thorough going over, polite but no nonsense. I guess that's understandable with millions of dollars in spendable money on hand. A must see in Fort Worth.

“This is the place to take out-of-town visitors”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

An excellent choice to take out of town visitors to see something they may have never seen. Price of entry is perfect and the gift shop is unique in its product selection. Great tour guides, very interesting and fun for all.

“One word: Awesome”
Reviewed November 28, 2012

They give you an audio tour you can go at your own pace. Learning about the processes and time it takes just to print one note was more then I ever knew about. Be sure to leave your cell phones, cameras and any recording devices in your car before you try to enter. They will have you returning to your car if you attempt to bring them in.
