Fabulous frozen custard in fun combinations. Reasonably priced. Strawberry shortcake to die for. Sit outside and enjoy your treat on a hot summer evening.

Curly's Frozen Custard, on Camp Bowie Boulevard in Fort Worth, is the perfect spot to spend a warm Texas summer evening. Curly's offers pleasant outdoor enjoyment, just like in the 1950s. Cap off a visit to the Carter Museum and a meal at one of several restaurants on Camp Bowie by eating a frozen custard and visiting with friends. Curly's offers different flavors each month (peach in the early summer is my favorite) along with the always-excellent lemon frozen custard. Hot dogs and Frito pies also are available for a low-cost summer meal and dessert. Don't miss a trip to the Eisenhower era...stop at Curly's and leave your worries behind.

My daughter loves the lemon custard. I just recently had the snickers sundae...it was great! The drive thru is an awesome idea.

Although they serve Nathan's hot dogs, nachos, Frito pie's and chili, everyone comes to Curly's for the frozen custard. Frozen custard contains 5% more butter fat than ice cream and one can taste the decadent difference (it's better). The list of flavors is not long, but everything is good and one can add toppings or customize the concretes to vary things. A very popular spot during Fort Worth's warm summers, we can walk to Curly's from our home.

Always good on a hot Texas day. A bit pricey for a family but perfect way to end a day of adventure in the cultural district. Awesome frozen custard.
