“Wedding in a historic surroundings”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

Went to a relatives wedding in the lovely old home that is so very well maintained and just wonderful to have a happy event to enjoy. I enjoyed talking to the house curator and getting a lovely discussion of the home's history and place in Ft Worth history. This gem should be kept and appreciated by all who have the chance to tour the past in this lovely home.

“Great visit!”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

This was a very interesting place to visit. Your ticket gives you admission to the Ball-Eddleman-McFarland House as well, and you don't have to visit both on the same day. Because they both host events, they do not offer tours on Saturday. This is the larger house, but I enjoyed the tour of the Ball-Eddleman-McFarland House more. Thistle Hill has recently started having food trucks. I don't know when they are available, but it is not on Sunday.

“Historic for sure”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

At one time one of the best haunted houses around. That was many years ago. Near the medical area and easy on easy off the freeway so that makes this a good place to see.

Have loved this house since I was a child. Taking the tour with a docent made a time in Fort Worth's history come alive!
