I recently visited the Fort Worth Water Gardens and was amazed at how beautiful it is. The sound of rushing water in the waterfall sculpture is very calming. You can even walk down into the sculpture on stone stairs! There is plenty of shade if one wanted to sit near the sculpture and read or just pass the time peacefully. There are other water exhibits included in the park such as the aerated and calm pools. Please include this beautiful park in your plans while visiting Fort Worth. You will be glad you did.

Stopped midday and spent an hour here. Kids enjoyed walking down into the waterfall sculpture and had fun climbing the mountains! Two more pools were calming and interesting to view. There are many places to sit in the sun and the shade and enjoy the surroundings. Easily found parking on the street and paid a couple quarters for the hour.

Every great city should have an oasis in the center. The Fort Worth Water gardens do not disappoint. When it gets to be over 100 degrees in Fort Worth it is nice to visit the Water Gardens. The water fountains, lower the temp and it is quite pleasant. Every visitor to Fort Worth should visit the Fort Worth Water Gardens!

This is featured in the movie Logan's Run - which is actually how we heard about it and decided to go visit it after seeing how interesting it is.

We went at night and it wasn't crowded - just some people on dates mostly. It was peaceful and pretty quiet with the exception of the sound of rushing water.

One of the installations you can literally just walk down these stepping blocks into this rushing water pit -- the blocks are slippery so really be careful! I was honestly surprised that people were generally allowed to do this -- haha. Though my husband assured me that was silly and most people can handle it. I was kinda freaked out though!

The other installations are pretty and worth seeing.

I like visiting here and I thought it was pretty neat / unique water installation/park area . Definitely not many things out there like this.

This park was a delight for the senses. There are three water pools and three areas in this 4-acre park. It is designed to suprise and delight visitors to the area. One water pool has water cascading down sloping stone sides into a pool at the bottom of the display. You can walk down to the center if you want. A second pool depicts a mountain lake shore line. It is still and lined with cedar pines. Very restful (unfortunately, there were some people bathing in the water). The third pool is the aerated pool. There are many jets in the water that are shooting water into the air, and yet designed so as to not get visitors wet. We thoroughy enjoyed the stroll around the water gardens.
