“A Really Great Experience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2013

Today it was almost 80 degrees in downtown Fort Worth so a trip to the Water Gardens was a perfect addition to our day. This attraction located near the Texas Wesleyan law school is just South of the Convention Center and is an amazing place to take in with it's variety of ponds and the way it moves water. You can even walk down giant steps with water cascading around you that will amaze people of all ages. From the serenity of the quiet areas (great place for a picnic lunch) and reflecting pools to the noisy area where water comes rushing down like waterfalls all around you (to help cool you off), this is quite an amazing place to see and a truly great experience to take in while you're visiting Cowtown.

“Please Go See These - Architecturally Interesting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2013

If you're in Ft. Worth, you have to spend an hour here. Architecturally interesting designed by some big names. The bald cypress trees with their "knees" in the "Quiet Pool" are amazing. The "Active Pool" would make a nice trip for an adult with children - walk down the steps. Good pictures from above. I

“An oasis in the heart of the city”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 12, 2013

Surprisingly enjoyable. It was really nice in the Spring and I'm sure it's even better when the hot Texas sun rules in the Summer. Architecturally interesting, esp the Serene pool. Literally escapes the hustle and noise the downtown hustle and bustle. Kids will love the mountain and the falls(?) pool that you can walk down into.Just a quick hop on the Molly Trolley from anywhere in downtown.

“scenic and peaceful”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2013

This is an oasis in the midst of the city. Basically it's a large water feature where water cascades down stepped walls into a pool. You can climb down huge, slab steps into the waterfall, but you don't get wet. It can be tricky if someone is going down and someone is coming up the steps at the same time. We came here to eat lunch as several other people were doing. There are places to sit down and just watch the water. It's not Niagara Falls but it is a nice place to sit and take a break.

“Absolutely Beautiful!”

This is a gorgeous area and it lends itself to perfect photo ops. Would be great fun for the kids, with all of the climbing spaces. Could be dangerous for little ones, would require good supervision.
