Delightful buffet of light lunch food. The quiche and sandwiches are delicious. The diversity of tasty salads made me wish my plate was bigger. As it turned out, the size was perfect.
Blueberry carrot cale sounded fabulous but was only good.
The only drawback was the acoustics made it very noisy and hard to talk and hear anyone farther than sitting next to you.

You pay by plate size & then you can ask for whatever you like - a slice of quiche, a cup of soup, some salad, etc - as long as it will fit on the plate. I think a beverage was included in the price as well. I had coffee, of course. There were plenty of vegetarian options, the serving ladies were exaggeratedly friendly, and the dining room is decorated with real Roman mosaics.

Our friends live close by. We went with them to Kimbell for lunch. Atmosphere more "business-casual", than romantic. It's just a place to eat. But the food was good.

I almost hate to review this one. Shelby buys fresh produce and the soups, quiche, sandwiches and salads are wholesome and delicious. The two soup choices change each day, and so does the quiche and sandwiches. The price is reasonable, and the ambience is spectacular. Try it, but then shhhh, pinkie-swear you won't tell anyone but your best friend. The regulars want to continue eating there without fighting a crowd.

A cafeteria with a gourmet flair: excellent soups and sandwiches at a reasonable price. Friendly staff and personalized service with your name assigned to a table. Real art work on the walls. A rare treat.
